Going At Full Speed
Forza Horizon 5 is celebrating more than 20 million players in the game’s first 7-months of its lifespan.
The new milestone for Forza Horizon 5 is now recorded and can be accessed in the game’s very own Hall of Fame leaderboard, which players can access via the main Horizon Festival location. Currently, the leaderboard which shows every player’s total score and how it compares to others records more than 20,012,405 players in total, as reported by VGC.
The 20 million players achievement is in line with the previous milestone that Forza Horizon 5 had crossed, which was reaching 1 million players before the game had even officially launched for those who bought the game’s standard edition as well as Game Pass subscribers. This was incredibly impressive as it means that one million players had bought the $99 premium edition of the game before its official launch. Xbox had previously called it their “biggest launch ever.”
Forza Horizon 5 dedicated fanbase will soon be rewarded with the game’s first-ever DLC. It is yet to be revealed, however, fans are hoping that the DLC will be shown off at the upcoming Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase which will air on June 12. Forza fans are also expecting new and big updates regarding the upcoming Forza Motorsport game which is still expected to release in 2022.
Forza Horizon 5 is now available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, as well as Xbox Game Pass.
