A Console Confirmation Date
A constantly changing world is coming to Xbox. And the wait isn’t too long. Today Developer Ludomotion announced that their upcoming genre blending game, Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy, is officially releasing for Xbox at the start of June. A press release provides the specifics about the Xbox version. Additionally, the release provides info on the game itself.
Unexplored 2: The Wayfarer’s Legacy introduces players to a large, procedurally generated, world. This world is full of danger, troubles, and elements that may result in the death of your character. Yet, this is an important mechanic of the game. Unexplored 2 features a world where dying progresses time, changes events, and allows new heroes to try and pick up where the last failed. The actions of your past heroes still have an impact on those that follow. Each hero that arrives in the world has the same goal, but the story that they will follow to reach it differs wildly. The world really changes each time a character dies. New factions, events, and more will appear in the world. Of course, this doesn’t go on forever. Either your heroes succeed, or your whole save file gets wiped and you start all over.
