MultiVersus Is Getting a Bunch of Cartoon Network Characters
MultiVersus does not have an official release date just yet. However, there have been tons of leaks surrounding the game since its announcement to the gaming community. The latest one suggests that the game is going to have seven more popular characters.
The MultiVersus leaker revealed seven new names coming to the game. However, they actually total to 12 since some of them are more than one character combined to fight as a single fighter. The leaked list includes Samurai Jack, the Animaniacs, Ben 10, Ted Lasso, Duck Dodgers or Daffy Duck, Scorpion, and the Powerpuff Girls.
The involvement of the lovable soccer coach may seem like a stretch. However, the inclusion of the other names make a lot of sense. Daffy and his spacefaring persona Duck Dodgers will be perfect foil to Bugs Bunny who is already present in the game’s character roster. Ben 10, Samurai Jack, Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles will definitely complement the other Cartoon Network characters that are already part of the game.
The eagle-eyed leaker also discovered a Rick Sanchez file in the game’s code. Plus, a recent data mine revealed that Naruto and Wreck-It Ralph are going to make their way to the game as well.
The leaked information comes with almost two hours of voice lines with references to a variety of unconfirmed characters. With that said, MultiVersus fans should understand that they must take this leak with a hefty grain of salt. As mentioned, devs have not yet provided a schedule for the game’s launch just yet. This indicates that it may be a while before they officially announce anything.
Some MultiVersus fans were lucky enough to have the opportunity to take part in the game’s recent alpha. Thos who have already tried it found the upcoming title to be fast and looney in all the right ways.
