Unfortunately, Konami has also confirmed that Master League will also arrive as additional paid content and won’t be free for all eFootball players. The announcement revealed that the number of teams that will be usable in leagues and club teams will be expanded but will also only be available as “additional paid content”.

Other eFootball features that fans have been asking for are fortunately now set to arrive in 2022. These features include cross-platform play across consoles and PC, new editing functions, as well as Lobby Matches where players can create rooms to play matches using their created Dream Teams.

Master League was a fan-favorite game mode before eFootball was released and since the series was known as Pro Evolution Soccer. It is the franchise’s career mode where players are given the reigns of their favorite football club and are given control over how they improve their team including selling and buying players in pursuit of winning tournaments.

eFootball is a free-to-play game that is now available for download on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, as well as iOS and Android devices.
