Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Is Out on May 10th

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an action RPG on a 2D plane. It is a spinoff to Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes that was announced just last year. Gamers who are not huge fans of JRPGs will probably find this smaller game more enticing once it launches on May 10th.

Just like the other titles that are part of the old Suikoden series, fans can expect a lot of dextrous sword fighting and meandering exploration with Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising. However, there is one feature that makes it stand out from the rest. It has a town building element.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is actually a prequel to Hundred Heroes. Although fans are expecting the game to be much smaller than the 2023 title, it appears to be a substantial Metroidvania in its own right.

Just last month, developers Rabbit & Bear and Natsume-Atari shared the game’s first half hour of gameplay to the gaming community. The preview gave fans a sneak peek on its different environments, enemies, and characters.
