Cardful Planning, Action Puzzler, Dealing Its Way to Switch

When Life Deals you a Bad Hand…

Time to start kicking some deck. Today Walk Home Games and Thalamus Digital Publishing announced that their action puzzle game, Cardful Planning, is coming to the Nintendo Switch on April 29th 2022. An announcement provides more details about the game. Additionally the announcement also gives the opinions of James Martin, the Founder and Lead Developer of Walk Home Games, and Founder and CEO of Thalamus: Andy Roberts. 

Cardful Planning places players in the suit of a brave little playing card trying to recue his love from The Bad Hand. Adventuring through a dungeon with over one-hundred levels players will need to master some abilities. 4 abilities to be exact. Of course, each ability corresponds with a suit. Each allows you to solve puzzles, or defeat enemies, in new ways. Mastering them is key to your success. The game also features multiple modes, and online leaderboards. 

“Cardful Planning has been a labour of love for the past few months.” Says James Martin, Founder and Lead Developer of Walk Home Games, in the announcement, “Developing the Nintendo Switch version was great fun and allowed me to add more levels.” 

Additionally Thalamus CEO, Andy Roberts, shared his thoughts on bringing Cardful Planning to the Switch. He believes that the game’s design and gameplay elements make it a perfect fit for the system. He says, “As soon as I saw Cardful Planning I was adamant that we needed to bring the game to Nintendo Switch…With its bite-sized levels and intimate gameplay, it’s simply perfect for the platform.”  

Cardful Planning is releasing on the Nintendo Switch on April 29th, 2022. However, pre-orders for the game are available, today, April 18th. Early pre-orders will also receive 50% off of the game. So, is Cardful Planning in the cards for you?
