Call of Duty: Warzone’s Next Operators Will Be Godzilla & King Kong

Call of Duty: Warzone Will Have an Epic Battle Between Godzilla and King Kong

Call of Duty: Warzone has had some strange choices for crossover events over the past year. It looks like Activision is kicking things up a notch with an epic crossover for next month’s Operation Monarch Warzone event.

Hold on to your…everything,” Call of Duty: Warzone devs announced on social media. “The monster of all battles is coming.”

Devs confirmed that the much-awaited battle between the two legendary monsters will begin on May 11th. Although devs shared a flashy trailer along with the announcement, the battle itself remains a mystery. However, fans are hopeful that an epic battle between the two will happen.

If the Monarch event is anything like the franchise’s previous events, there will most likely be a special time-limited mode that specifically involves the two characters. With that said, Godzilla and King Kong may fight each other while everyone gets to stand around on the sidelines and watch the battle commence.

This event is just one part of the franchise’s Season 3: Classified Arms. Moreover, according to multiple sources,  there will be a few new points of interest, a new gulag map, a new perk, as well as the return of Iron Trials.

There will also be three new premium bundles with inspiration from King Kong, Godzilla, and Mechagodzilla. It is worth noting that the in-game outfits will probably not convert players into a massive lizard or gorilla. However, they will transform them into some type of human, lizard, or monkey hybrid.

Activision’s updates for Call of Duty: Warzone has gotten scarcer as the months continued. The gaming community somewhat expected this. After all, devs announced earlier this year that Infinity Ward is hard at work on a sequel. Apparently, they are planning to build the sequel from the ground up on the engine that will power the next Call of Duty title.
