Ultreia Is Looking for Meaning This Friday on Nintendo Switch

Why are we here? It’s a question humans have had since… forever really. Yet, could robots wonder the same thing? This Friday Red Deer Games’ point-and-click adventure game, Ultreia, is coming to Nintendo Switch. Taking inspiration from games such as Grim Fandango and Machinarium, Ultreia follows the tale of a little robot named Nymo as he searches for the meaning of life. Ahead of the game’s release, Red Deer has unveiled a new trailer to give players a look at the atmosphere of Ultreia. 

The game place players in the metal feet of Nymo as he adventures across the mystical world of Ultreia. With robots as the populace, and dark post-apocalpytic atmosphere, Ultreia looks to seems to convey beauty in ruin. A fitting theme for the rest of the features coming with the release of the game. Players will adventure and explore different biomes from caverns, to the city of Mount St. Troy, space, and beyond. All the while solving puzzles and speaking with robots who speak in their own unique languages. 

A new announcement trailer gives players a glimpse of the game. For instance, the atmosphere they will experience as Nymo on his pilgrimage for answers is made very clear. In addition the trailer also gives players a look at the grid-like inventory system Ultreia uses for solving puzzles. With 4-5 hours of gameplay and over 50 locations to explore, there is a lot of new world to see with Nymo, on his quest to understand life and death. 

 

Ultreia is coming out on Nintendo Switch on Friday March 25th, 2022. Are you ready to go on a journey, solve some puzzles, meet some robots, and maybe understand life a little better?
