Today Tango Gameworks and Bethesda have announced the prequal to their upcoming game, Ghostwire: Tokyo, in the form of a playable visual novel Ghotswire: Tokyo- Prelude. A press release provides details about the prequal as well as the full game.Â
Ghostwire: Tokyo is an action adventure game that places players in a more supernatural Tokyo. Supernatural creatures, the Visitors, have been invading the city. As the main character, Akito, players must master the mystical art of ethereal weaving to defeat the leading Visitor: Hannya. However, you are not alone. Accompanying you is the mysterious KK who helps strengthen your powers.
Ghostwire: Tokyo-Prelude gives players a chance to join KK and his team of otherworldly detectives as they track a strange disappearance. Players can interact with KK’s associates and unravel more stories while learning more about the world of Ghostwire: Tokyo. While you adventure and learn more about the mystery you may just uncover something even more sinister.Â
A new trailer gives players a glimpse of the art style of Ghostwire: Tokyo Prelude. Players can see the art style, as well as get a good look at KK and his associates.Â
Ghostwire: Tokyo- Prelude is free to all PlayStation 4 and 5 owners today. Furthermore Steam and Epic Games players will be able to grab the Prelude free on March 8th. Ghostwire: Tokyo comes out on March 25th, 2022 worldwide. Players who pre-order the deluxe edition of the game will receive early access to play on March 22nd. Additionally they will receive the streetwear outfit pack, the Shinobi outfit, and the Kunai weapon. Are you ready to delve into Tokyo?Â
