Call of Duty: Warzone’s Rebirth Island Is Getting a Makeover

Call of Duty: Warzone’s Smaller Rebirth Island Map Gets a “Facelift”

Call of Duty: Warzone has a second, smaller map called Rebirth Island. Devs have just confirmed to the gaming public that they are giving this map a “facelift” next week.

Reloaded and Reinforced,” Raven Software wrote on social media. “Next week, Rebirth Island gets a facelift.”

The social media announcement comes with an image that shows the title of the update in front of Rebirth Island’s map. There are some photos tacked to it, as well as a gun and some ammo laying on top of it.

Call of Duty: Warzone players were quick to notice that the updated map has some key changes. The security area seems to have been changed into a stronghold. Also, the photo shows a couple of ships at the docks. Other than these, fans are in the dark about what other changes have been applied. They will have to wait until the map refresh launches sometime next week.

The original Rebirth Island map debuted as an updated version of Alcatraz from previous Call of Duty games. Its revamped version shows new points of interest and loot. Fans are speculating that these are part of the “substantial changes” that devs previously promised earlier this season.

Caldera will still be the de facto map for Call of Duty: Warzone. However, fans can enter Rebirth Island if they want a CoD experience that is different from the franchise’s default battle royale mode.

Unfortunately, devs did not provide any specific details about when they are launching the new Rebirth Island map. Fans think the new map may be available y Tuesday or Thursday as part of the Season Two Reloaded update. With that said, they are expecting more news from the devs in the coming days.

Rebirth Reinforced is going to be the first major update for the smaller of the two Call of Duty: Warzone maps.
