Forza Horizon 5’s First DLC Appears to Be in Testing

Forza Horizon 5’s First DLC Is on Its Way

Forza Horizon 5 players have eagerly been waiting for the game’s first expansion. Fortunately for fans, it would seem that the DLC is already in its testing phase.

A Microsoft Store insider has revealed that Microsoft is currently testing the DLC. According to multiple reports, it is given the term Woodstock DLC Flight and is being tested via the Xbox Insider Hub. Fans who have closely followed the franchise are well aware that Woodstock was the internal codename for Forza Horizon 5.

Microsoft has started testing Woodstock DLC Flight through the Xbox Insider Hub,” the insider said. “Which means Forza Horizon DLC 1 ‘soon.’”

The Forza Horizon 5 Expansion Bundle listing on the Xbox Store said that it will include “two game expansions when they become available.” “Each expansion will introduce a new location, vehicles, and gameplay,” the listing read.

Forza Horizon 5 is definitely more than destined to get a DLC. It got amazing reviews at launch. Fans love that it was not lacking for content between a wealth of driving events and an extensive vehicle roster. However, things may become a bit stale as time goes on.

At the moment, it remains unclear what setting the Forza Horizon 5 expansion will have. However, it is worth noting that it will most likely showcase a smaller region that was quite similar to the original game. That is, if devs decide to follow the release cadence of the previous installment.

The Expansion Bundle for Forza Horizon 4 included the Lego Speed Champions and Fortune Island expansions.

Fortune Island allowed players to go to a mountainous island that had a rough terrain. In fact, it featured the single largest mountain road in the series’ history. Lego Speed Champions, on the other hand, brought the Lego Valley. This was a new location that was predominantly made of Lego pieces.
