Get ready guardian. It’s time to take back the light from the God of the Hive. Bungie’s hit game Destiny 2 launches its latest expansion to its, ever-growing, universe today with The Witch Queen. A press release provides the details of the expansion as well as things to come with it further down the line.Â
The Witch Queen sees players face off against Savathûn the Witch Queen, God of the Hive, on her seat of power the Throne World. Having spent so much time unraveling her secrets, it’s time for the Guardians to fight. So, players get to explore the Throne world wielding a whole host of new powers and weapons. Yet, don’t think you won’t face further challenges. Savathûn has given her soldiers the power of the light itself, so you will be facing some intense enemy powers.Â
In addition to a new location and story, The Witch Queen brings many features. From a new weapon, the glaive, to weapon crafting and more. So much is coming with the update from game modes, quests, and a new season pass, to weapons, crafting, and places to explore. Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is available today on all platforms. Additionally players can purchase different bundles such as the Deluxe and 30th Bungie Anniversary Bundle.
