This Was Announced During a Livestream
Babylon’s Fall, which will be officially out on March 3, 2022, has announced that they will be doing a collaboration event in the near future. Only, it wasn’t them who announced it, exactly. It came up during a NiER Livestream.
And that’s because there will be a NiER: Automata collaboration with Babylon’s Fall. During NiER: Automata’s fifth-anniversary live stream celebration, they announced that there will be a collaboration event. This event, will not only allow players to create costumes of the iconic characters from NiER: Automata including 2B, 9S, A2, Commander White, and Operator 210. But moreover, there will be new places on the map, with two NiER: Automata locations. These locations are Machine Village and the Amusement Park, which can be explored by Babylon’s Fall players.
Something that is very interesting though, is that the event will be overseen by two of the NiER team. The creator, Yoko Taro, will be overseeing the entire event. As well, the game designer, Takahisa Taura, will be overseeing the event as well. This is a surprising development, but it may have to do with the fact that in these locations, there appear to be enemies from the NiER: Automata game. How it will combine with Babylon’s Fall fighting style is difficult to say, but from the looks of the trailer, it’s something to keep an eye on.
Sadly, there does not seem to be a release date window for when the NiER and Babylon’s Fall collaboration will go live, or how long it will be.
However, we do know that on February 25, 2022, the live demo for Babylon’s Fall will be released onto PlayStation consoles. And on March 3, 2022, Babylon’s Fall will officially be out to play, which will also start season one of the game. The first season will be expected to run until May 31st, 2022.
It looks like there may be a lot to look forward to when it comes to Babylon’s Fall gameplay. Stay tuned for more updates!
