Elden Ring Is Now the Most Wishlisted Game on Steam
Elden Ring is the most wishlisted game on Steam. That is an incredible feat and shows just how popular FromSoftware is. They have truly come so far from the cult classic that is Demon’s Souls that Sony didn’t believe in enough to publish in the states to the most wishlisted game on Steam. That’s some true growth.
With that said, I am kind of surprised the game it dethroned was Dying Light 2. I apparently have failed to understand just how many people are hyped for Dying Light 2. Maybe it would have kept its number one spot if they didn’t announce that it would take 500 hours to complete the game. I know that put me off of the game. That’s too long.
I just don’t have any idea what is popular since number 3 on the top list is Party Animals. I have no idea what Party Animals is. Good for it, though. I do know the fifth spot, however. I am also very excited for Hollow Knight: Silksong, and it might actually be coming out soon!
Elden Ring rising above those high key titles as well as other massive games like God of War is impressive. The Souls games are no longer niche titles. They are as mainstream as you can get these days. That is fantastic news for people like me, who love these games. It’s nice to see so many other people hop on the hype train. It’s going to make discussing the game more interesting. There are going to be a wide variety of different thoughts coming out once the game launches on February 25.
February 25 really can’t come soon enough. I’m just killing time until Elden Ring finally comes out. I’ve never been so happy to have Friday and Saturday off during the week.
