Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Fans Are Expecting It to Show Up at The Game Awards

Senua’s Sega: Hellblade 2 is reportedly going to be among the title that are going to be shown at this year’s The Game Awards.

Back in September Journalist Jeff Grubb leaked to the gaming public that, from what he understood, Senua’s Sega: Hellblade 2 will be at The Game Awards. Three months after his first statement, Grubb is still confident and continues to stand by his words.

Hellblade 2 will still be there,” he said. “I just have not heard anything to the contrary.

The last major news about Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 was in June. That was the time that Developer Ninja Theory released the game’s latest behind-the-scenes trailer. Devs have revealed nothing about the game since then. However, Chief Creative Designer Tameem Antoniades did say that the team was working extra hard to delivery something extra special.

What we are doing right now is building a good chunky slice of the game before we then move into full production to build out the rest,” Antoniades said. “Hellblade was very special for us.”

Team Ninja is very creative with the game’s character front by creating real costumes. “We are building real costumes, scanning them in,” he added. “We are collaborating with Epic Games to bring you the next generation digital characters.”

They even sent some of their staff to Iceland so they could scout the area and transfer images into Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. “The game is set in ninth century Iceland,” he continued. “So, we have been sending our art and audio teams out there doing photography, photogrammetry, and combining it with satellite data to recreate large swathes of the landscape.

We wanted to do something extra special,” Antoniades told fans. “So, we are making our lives as difficult as possible in that pursuit.
