Dig Deep and Become King

Up and down, side to side. There is no limits to which way you can build your kingdom in Tag of Joy’s upcoming city builder King of the Dwarves. A press release about the game shares all of the deep details about building your dwarven home.

KOTD Feature

King of the Dwarves claims to take an in-depth approach to city builders. Reinventing the way players think about city building games. The game contains an extensive list of features that sound familiar, with their own Dwarven twist, that function in a building game unrestricted by direction.

“King of the Dwarves: Underground City Builder will not only allow you to build an epic kingdom in the heart of a mountain but also build it in any and every direction you could think of,” reads the press release.

Set in a 3D world, the game allows players to immerse themselves as a Dwarf King. Additionally, resource management, unit command, and orders are all attached to, as the press release says ,“easy-to-use but tough-to-master sliders.”

Players can recruit new units, expand their kingdom and research new technologies. All staples of city building sims in the past, yet now unrestricted by direction with a Dwarven theme.

Also, the press release points out that, players kingdom’s exist in a vast world. Players will need to make politically driven decisions when it comes to war, trade, and expansion. You will need to decide what is best for your hundreds of Dwarves. All on top of protecting them from threats both within and outside of your mountain.

Additionally, everything mentioned can be seen in the announcement trailer.

King of the Dwarves: Underground City Builder will be released on Steam. As of yet the only release date that is given is “when the right mountain is found.”

You can add the game to your Steam Wishlist currently.
