Graphic Novels and Comics from a Galaxy Far, Far, Away
Arriving once again into the ever-expanding universe of Star Wars, Dark Horse Comics announced in a blog post on November 18th that they will be publishing new Star Wars comics in 2022.
The famous publisher is collaborating with Lucasfilm and Disney Worldwide Publishing bringing new comic books to readers of all ages. The books will take place in every era of the Star Wars universe. From the High Republic to the Rise of the First Order and beyond. All of these comics will add to the expanding Star Wars canon.
“I am thrilled that Dark Horse will once again bring new stories to life from this incredible galaxy,” said Mike Richardson, Dark Horse founder and CEO. “I’m not exaggerating when I say we can’t wait to bring these new adventures to fans of every age.”
Fortunately for fans, it is obvious Dark Horse has had a lot of time spent in the Star Wars universe. The new 2022 comics are far from the first time Dark Horse has worked in a galaxy far, far, away. From Star Wars: Dark Empire in 1991 to the comics releasing next year, Dark Horse has thirty years of history publishing Star Wars stories. Now, fans of Star Wars will have all-new adventures to complement the other content emerging from Lucasfilm and Disney.
Likewise, Dark Horse provides books to enhance already released series. For example, their art books that allow watchers of shows like Star Wars: Rebels and Star Wars: Visions to revisit some of their favorite characters and scenes.
