Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Is Center Stage at DC FanDome

Tick, Tick, Boom

DC FanDome 2021 has kicked off today and we got a nice, sweet story trailer for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. Last year, we got our first look at the game, where Task Force X came face to face with a purple-faced Superman, who they are expected to kill.

Kind of like the first trailer, this story trailer is entirely made up of in-game cinematics, so we do not actually see the game in action. Still, it kind of captures the feeling of the trailers for the Suicide Squad movies. You are introduced to the characters, the mission, and the premise of Task Force X, all with a popular song from 15 years ago in the background.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League

This trailer gives us a better understanding of the situation that Task Force X finds itself in. Many of the Justice League members are under the control of Brainiac, who now rules over Metropolis. We also see that there are some of the Justice League who have not yet succumbed to Brainiac’s influence and may be potential allies.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a continuation of the Batman: Arkham games, and though the larger DC world outside of Gotham was absent from that series, we now get to see other heroes in action. Heroes such as Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Lantern, and the Flash.

We still do not have a solid release date, but 2022 is getting closer and closer, so hopefully we will have this game in our hands soon. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will be coming out in 2022 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
