Call of Duty: Warzone’s New Caldera Map Will Launch on December 2nd

Call of Duty: Warzone’s New Pacific Map Will Go Live on December 2nd

Call of Duty: Warzone was released to the gaming community last year with the Verdansk battle royale map. Since then, it has received a lot of changes and updates, and many fans of the franchise have heralded the Verdansk map as its bread and butter. However, Activision has confirmed that iconic map will be destroyed soon, and a new map is coming up.

Call of Duty: Warzone is going to be integrated with Call of Duty: Vanguard, which, in turn, will introduce the new Pacific map of Caldera. It has been reported that, starting November 24th, more references to the new map will be added in Warzone. This will give CoD players the opportunity to gather intel on the upcoming Pacific environment before it officially goes live.

Building up to the official end of Verdansk, Call of Duty: Warzone will be hosting the a special event called Operation: Flashback, which will begin on November 18th. This event is described as an encore limited-time mode that will celebrate the Verdansk map, and the devs have marketed it as the map’s “last dance.” It will let players relive the past 18 months in Verdansk. Those who take part in the event will be rewarded with an emblem, as well as an animated calling card if they win.

On December 2nd, Call of Duty: Warzone will go dark, and Season 1 will begin, with players jumping in to experience the new Caldera battle royale map. During the launch, Call of Duty: Warzone players will gain access to a Vanguard Royale playlist that includes all of the new content from the update, including anti-air trucks and biplanes.

After the integration to Call of Duty: Vanguard, Activision has assured fans that all Operators from Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, and Vanguard can be used across all of Warzone.

Your progression for your Player Level, Battle Pass system, etc. is synchronized across Vanguard, Black Ops Cold War, Modern Warfare, and Warzone Pacific,” the devs wrote in a lengthy blog post. “The Seasonal Levelling and Prestige System will return.”

This also means your level will reset to Military Rank 1 within all games,” they added. “But, this only applies to XP, all content you previously unlocked will still be available.”
