Apex Legends’ Upcoming Halloween Event Monsters Within Has A Cool Twist To It
Apex Legends is one of the best battle royales around, known for its quirky characters, unique skillsets, fast paced movement and high skill ceiling. The game has a lot to offer in the realm of battle royales and Electronic Arts continues to pump content, characters and more into Apex Legends. As Halloween approaches, Apex Legends has released an official trailer showing off an upcoming event where the night grows long and dark with shadows. Are you ready to jump into the darkness and fight?
The event, Monsters Within, kicks off on October 26th. In the event, players will be able to conquer the Encore Arenas map and gear themselves in limited edition cosmetic sets for different Legends such as Revenant, Bloodhound, Caustic and Seer. The choices are apt as these are pretty much the scariest choices around. Furthermore, Shadow Royale puts a twist on the battle royale formula as slain Legends respawn in Shadow-Form to help living teammates. Teams fight it out until the last living Legend remains standing.
The skins shown in the trailer look really cool, especially Revenant’s, whose costume was clearly inspired by a werewolf.
