Call of Duty: Warzone’s Combat Bow Glitch Gave a Player a Giant’s FOV
Call of Duty: Warzone, since its launch, has had its fair share of issues. Now, one new glitch that has just surfaced has transformed the game’s players into giants that ended up randomly changing their field of view. Fans of the franchise have had consistent requests to improve the gameplay, and there was a high demand for an FOV slider on consoles. However, instead of giving them a much wider FOV, the bug in question sent them high into the sky.
One Call of Duty: Warzone fan pointed out that the glitch would be triggered every time players made us of their combat bow. Players would aim out their window with their combat bow and attempt to line up a range shot. Unfortunately, as soon as the weapon is fired, their character model grew in height to an absurd level—essentially turning them into giants. Their heads even hit the ceiling of the building that they were hiding in, and later on they end up being flown outside. The fan then pointed out that the weapon somehow disappears as panic ensued, making them decide to take a prone position. This position seemed to be the key, since their camera fixed shortly after they went prone—with their loadout returning as well.
From another player’s point of view, it has been said that the affected gamer looks normal. With that said, it would seem that this particular Call of Duty: Warzone glitch is only wholly tied to the first-person camera, as it is placed over that player’s character model for some unknown reason.
Fortunately for Call of Duty: Warzone fans, the Season 5 Reloaded update is just right around the corner. They are hopeful that this issue would be among the patch is going to fix. New game modes and a seasonal event are coming, and being able to play the game with the combat bow—without the fear of being transformed into a giant—would be nice.
