All Xbox Users Can Play In Halo Infinite’s Second Technical Preview

Major Improvements Hopefully To Be Showcased in Second Preview

The second weekend of Halo Infinite’s Second Technical Preview will be available for all Xbox users to play – Halo insider or not.  It is hoped that 343 Industries will make major improvements, as the first technical preview was rife with bugs.

Once again, the preview will solely be a Multiplayer Tech Preview.  With this Halo game, the multiplayer will be free to play, with the campaign being sold separately for $60.00 USD.  The previous technical preview came with a host of improvements that the devs noted that they needed to do.  Among a massive list included screen shake reduction, weapon ease of use, accessibility improvements, and more.  No details of what improvements have been implemented are included in the announcement, however.

In the announcement tweet, it was announced that “Xbox Spartans Want to join in on this weekend’s (Oct. 1-3) #HaloInfinite Multiplayer Tech Preview? You can download the build via the Xbox Insider Hub starting right now! Halo Insider or not, you can join on on the action.”  In order to install the game on your Xbox, you first have to download and launch Xbox Insider Hub.  Once in the app, you can find and join “Halo Infinite – Insider” under the Previews section.  From there, all you have to do is view the preview in store, install, and wait for the weekend to give the upcoming Halo game a shot.

Although the game will also be released on Steam, no details of whether the technical insider would be released on the platform or not yet.
