Once again, the preview will solely be a Multiplayer Tech Preview. With this Halo game, the multiplayer will be free to play, with the campaign being sold separately for $60.00 USD. The previous technical preview came with a host of improvements that the devs noted that they needed to do. Among a massive list included screen shake reduction, weapon ease of use, accessibility improvements, and more. No details of what improvements have been implemented are included in the announcement, however.
In the announcement tweet, it was announced that “Xbox Spartans Want to join in on this weekend’s (Oct. 1-3) #HaloInfinite Multiplayer Tech Preview? Once in the app, you can find and join “Halo Infinite – Insider” under the Previews section. Although the game will also be released on Steam, no details of whether the technical insider would be released on the platform or not yet.
