Naraka: Bladepoint Will Take the Stage at E3 2021

The Game’s Release Date Will Be Revealed There

Developer 24 Entertainment has officially announced that Naraka: Bladepoint will be at E3 2021. This medieval Japanese-inspired Battle Royale game will receive a full 10-minute segment dedicated to it in the June 13th NetEase show and then another segment in the PC Gaming Show later that same day. Fans will probably get to see more gameplay footage from a build closer to the final version, which will be especially nice in the wake of the first and highly successful Naraka: Bladepoint open beta. A second open beta will be announced at the event, as will the game’s final release date. According to the press release, the second open beta will be held this summer, so fans of Battle Royales may want to leave some room on their calendars.

In the upcoming open beta, players will return to Modus Island to explore the environment, discover new content, and once again fight for their lives. The devs promise that new and currently unrevealed content will appear ahead of the game’s final release later this year. Fans of existing Battle Royale games like Fortnite, Apex Legends, or PUBG may have some ideas of what forms this currently unrevealed content could take. Will animals or spirits be added to the battlefield? Are new weapons going to make an appearance? Maybe the giant dragon glimpsed in the sky during some gameplay trailers will start playing an important role in how the tide of battle turns. It’s hard to say right now.

Fans interested in catching the Naraka: Bladepoint show can tune in on YouTube, Twitch, or Facebook on June 13th, 2021 at 9:30 AM PDT (17:30 UK, 18:30 Paris) to catch it live. We’re sure it’ll be lovely to see this gorgeous game in action once again.
