Cyberpunk 2077 PS5 Upgrade Will Be Out Later This Year

But If You Need More Time, Just Say So

Fingers crossed, everybody. CD Projekt Red is taking a step into current-gen territory. Hopefully, it isn’t a stumble. Like could you imagine if Neal Armstrong slipped and fell onto the moon? That’s kind of what I’m hoping doesn’t happen here. We all know about Cyberpunk 2077’s initial release, which coincided with the release of multiple Canadian roulette sites; we don’t have to go over it again. Last week, CDPR announced that Cyberpunk 2077 would be returning to the PlayStation Store today, but to avoid playing it on the standard PS4; PS4 Pro and PS5 will provide a more reliable experience. Today, they announced news regarding the PS5 version of the game.

CD Projekt Red says that the PS5 upgrade for Cyberpunk 2077 will be coming out at some point during the second half of 2021. This is a reiteration of what they said back in January, that it would not be ready in the first half of the year. Is this a good sign that they are keep to schedule or a sign of trying to meet a deadline, no matter the cost? Well, we are officially in the second half, so everyone just… don’t touch anything and we may get through this.

This news was branched off of the announcement that the game is back on the PlayStation Store, so it does not mention the Xbox version. Will the Xbox Series X|S version come out at the same time as the PS5 version? We would assume, but also expect the unexpected. All the hard work from CDPR and all the patience from fans before the initial release did not end up bearing sweet fruit, but everything since will pay off with the PS5/Xbox Series X|S release. Cyberpunk 2077 is out now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Stadia, and will be out on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S hopefully by the end of the year.

Have you been playing Cyberpunk since it released or are you waiting for the upgrade? Let us know in the comments below.
