A Cyberpunk Nightmare Prepares to Invade the Physical World
Newer, bigger, and better than ever, Observer: System Redux brought new life to the cold sci-fi/horror world of Observer, and now it’s about to arrive in a whole new dimension–by which we mean, Bloober Team and Koch Media have teamed up to give this terrifying cyberpunk game a physical release. If you haven’t already gotten your hands on the definitive edition of this chilling vision of the future, now is a great opportunity to do that. After all, the only thing better than a good cyberpunk/horror game is a good cyberpunk/horror game you can hold in your hands, hang up on your wall, or cuddle like a teddy bear. Not that we recommend cuddling the physical edition of Observer: System Redux. That seems like a recipe for terrible dreams, and if you’re into that, you can just watch this uncanny accolades trailer for the same effect.
The physical edition of Observer: System Redux will be available for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S|X. It will be released as a Day One Edition that includes the game itself, a softcover art book, and a soundtrack with a retail price of $29.99 USD. That sounds like a good little package to us, especially if you’re a fan of Observer’s smothering, surreal, and genuinely bone-chilling atmosphere. Even if you’re not that into cyberpunk as a genre, you have to admit that Observer’s art direction is top-notch.
As a quick reminder, Observer: System Redux isn’t just bigger than the game’s original release–it also offers expanded gameplay, new game mechanics, a host of new secrets, redesigned stealth, additional neural interrogations, and a ton of quality of life improvements. If you’re going to play this game, this is how you should do it.
Physical editions of Observer: System Redux will be available on July 16th, 2021.
