Observer: System Redux is Coming to the Next-Generation of Consoles

Can’t Wait to Get PTSD All Over Again

Observer is coming to the next generation of consoles. Both PS5 and Xbox Series X users are going to be able to get their hands on a new and improved version of the game. As it stands right now, Observer: System Redux is scheduled to release at the end of 2020 alongside the new consoles. However, thanks to the complications that have been caused by the coronavirus, this could change in the coming months. Even if the game is ready to launch as planned, it might be forced to pushback its release date due to the consoles themselves being delayed.

Observer might be best described as a mix between Dead Space and Blade Runner. It takes place in a really interesting and dark cyberpunk future in where you take on the role of being a detective. As you could imagine things get weird pretty quick. It is hard to not spoil the story, but it is certainly worth a playthrough even if you are not interested in buying a PS5 or Xbox Series X. All you need to know is that this game is going to mess with your head and it certainly is not for the faint of heart. If horror is not your thing, you’ll probably want to sit this one out.

Horror games have been in a bit of weird spot that last couple of years but games like Observer have really injected the genre with a much needed shot in the arm. Despite being a game that was released three years ago Observer still has one of the most impressive reputations from both fans and critics. As it stands right now, it still enjoys a 9/10 on Steam.
