Sea of Thieves Gets Mid-Season Update

Sea of Thieves Gets Shiny New Charity Sails

Rare Studios has officially released the mid-season update for Sea of Thieves‘ first official season, bringing new fishing event, charity sails, and more. Gamers who purchase the new charity sails known as the Sails of Hope will directly support Great Ormond Street Hospital. The Pirate Emporium was updated alongside the bugs and glitches with this mid-season update, giving pirates plenty of plunder to loot. Sea of Thieves is available right now for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and through the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate lineup.

Sea of Thieves recently entered its first official season, but Rare Studios continues to update the pirate simulator with this mid-season update. This update introduces a new themed event inspired by the Hunter’s Call trading company which will bring back the pirates who have progressed through the Plunder Pass and noobs alike. The mid-season update is available right now for Sea of Thieves players to delve into.

The Festival of Fishing has officially commenced in Sea of Thieves, giving pirates a chance to earn new fishing rods inspired by the Gold Hoarder, Merchant Alliance, and Order of Souls trading companies. This Festival will run from now until March 18th and it includes a fourth fishing rod based on the Frostbite cosmetics set if pirates are willing to put in the work to earn it.
