Relive the Mass Effect Trilogy This Spring… in 4K!
BioWare announced that Mass Effect would be making a return, not just with the release of a new game announced at the Game Awards, but with the Mass Effect: Legendary Edition which will fully remaster the first three titles in the franchise, along with all DLC. Mass Effect: Legendary Edition was announced last year on November 7, otherwise know as N7 day for fans of the series. Today, BioWare has finally announced a release date for the game along with a new trailer.
In an exclusive release date reveal, BioWare told Game Informer that the Legendary Edition will be releasing on May 14 –which is incredibly close to the rumors that were circulating earlier this month.
Mass Effect: Legendary Edition will include all singe-player content for Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3, including over 40 DLC, promo weapons, armors, and packs –all of which will be remastered and optimized for 4K Ultra HD. The game will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
