Google Stadia Devs Struggling to Fix Their Games

Some Stadia Games Are Being Fixed, Others Aren’t

While some Google Stadia developers have confirmed that they’re struggling to update games on the platform due to lacking support from Google, other developers have been able to patch their titles since Google decided to shift its focus. Journey to the Savage Planet is an example of a game that has received an update since, while 505 Games claimed there were problems resolving issues. Journey to the Savage Planet is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Google Stadia, and PC.

When a fan of Journey to the Savage Planet on Google Stadia reached out to 505 Games about a problem they encountered 505 Games said, “thank you for contacting 505 Games support. We are currently looking into this. Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do from our end right now since all of the game code and data on Stadia is owned by Google. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need further assistance.”

“Please note that the publisher for Journey to the Savage Planet on Stadia is in fact Stadia Games and Entertainment (Google LLC) and, unfortunately, we have no way of assisting with this kind of issue from our end. We suggest reaching out to Stadia support again and informing them that the publisher for the Stadia version of Journey to the Savage Planet is actually them.” Are you curious about what we thought about Journey to the Savage Planet?
