More Classic Telltale Games Return to PC

Old Games Never Dieโ€“At Least, These Ones Havenโ€™t

If youโ€™ve been kicking yourself for missing out on part of Telltaleโ€™s extensive gaming catalog, youโ€™re in luck. The company has begun re-releasing some of their greatest hits for PC. We already told you about The Walking Deadโ€˜s return to Steam, the new remaster of Sam & Max Save The World, and the two new titles in the works. Now, get ready for a blast from the past with Wallace & Gromitโ€™s Grand Adventures, Strong Badโ€™s Cool Game for Attractive People, and Telltale Texas Holdโ€™Em!. Yeah, you read that correctlyโ€“Strong Badโ€™s award-winning, autobiographical game (or so he claims) is available for purchase once more. If youโ€™re familiar with the title, rejoice! More interactive cartoon point-and-click action is coming your way. If not, ask yourself: โ€˜can I really live with myself if I donโ€™t take this opportunity to try it out?โ€™ The answer will probably be yes, but come on, itโ€™ll be funny.

Wallace & Gromitโ€™s Grand Adventures is another episodic game based on a show, this one the claymation classic. If you havenโ€™t picked up this gem already, do yourself a favor and check it out. The press release describes it like this: โ€œBased on the award-winning Aardman characters, Wallace & Gromitโ€™s Grand Adventures is a point-and-click interactive story series comprising four episodes, each seeing the affable inventor and his loyal dog through madcap exploits full of mishaps and humor.โ€

Mishaps and humor? What more can you ask for? Jamie Ottilie, CEO of the new Telltale, has this to say about the re-releases: โ€œThe classic Telltale titles really set the bar for early narrative games and garnered such loyal followings.โ€ He goes on to hope that the company can โ€œmake as many of the classic games available again for fans and, hopefully, a whole new audience while we work on a number of new titles.โ€

We hope things go well for Telltale!
