It’s Official: A KFConsole is on the Way

Who Had Fast Food Restaurant Enters Gaming Market for December?

We only have a few days left of 2020, but it looks like the year has saved its strangest news for last, with the revalation that an earlier trailer for the KFConsole was for a real product.

The KFConsole – and yes, that is the real name – is essentially a VR ready high-end gaming PC which comes equipped with – and I cannot possibly stress how much I am not lying about this because, quite frankly, it sounds insane – a chicken heating mechanism. Whether or not using said warmer for other foodstuffs would void the warranty remains to be seen because, once again, this is a gaming console which lets – nay, encourages – the user put food inside it. Presumably a few stray crumbs might occasionally sneak their way into the games console part, which leads to the frankly hilarious thought that someone will need to confirm whether any of the food particles come from non-avian sources if you send your console back to KFC – the actual chicken place – for repairs.

KFC PR Boss Mark Cheevers had this to say: “Moving forward from our initial teaser campaign earlier this year, we’re so pleased to finally give the fans exactly what they wanted; making the KFConsole a reality. We all know the console war is vicious, but we’re very confident in the KFConsole as our flagship entry. This machine is capable of running games at top-level specs, all on top of keeping your meal warm for you to enjoy during your gaming experience… what’s not to like? If Sony or Microsoft want any tips on how to engineer a chicken chamber for their efforts next time, they’d be welcome to get in touch.”

Do you think KFC can take on the big wigs like Sony and Microsoft, or do you think that this weird piece of news is just a hoax?? Let us know in the comments, on Twitter, or on Facebook.
