Red Dead Redemption 2’s Online Is Getting a Stand Alone Release

Want to Live Like a Cowboy With Your Friends? Pick up Red Dead Online

The follow up to the original Red Dead Redemption released back in 2018 and while the single-player has been highly praised by fans and critics alike, it is the online multiplayer that has kept fans coming back for more the past two years.

Red Dead Redemption 2‘s online is now getting a stand alone release, and it’s coming in just a few days. On December 1st, Red Dead Online will be available to purchase on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Rockstar Games Launcher, Epic Games Store, and Steam with PS4 and Xbox One versions playable via backward compatibility on PlayStation 5 or Xbox Series X|S.

Already beat the Read Dead Redemption 2 single player campaign on PS4, but your friends are all playing online on PC? Well, this is a good opportunity to buy the online game for a lower cost to entry than the full experience.

This offer is available until February 15, 2021, and will include an option to unlock Red Dead Redemption 2 Story Mode, and all other Red Dead Online upgrade content.

Speaking of Red Dead Online content, the Bounty Hunter Expansion will be released next week and will include new prestige level skills and equipment, new bounty targets (duh), double XP, discounts, and additional prime gaming benefits.

You can also catch Red Dead Redemption 2 on sale right now on most platforms including the Steam Autumn Sale running until next week.
