Chinese Mythology Coming to Immortals Fenyx Rising

Immortals Fenyx Rising Post-Launch Content Includes Chinese Mythology

Ubisoft has given gamers an idea of what to expect from future content coming to Immortals Fenyx Rising ahead of its December release. The Season Pass includes access to a bonus quest, three new story-driven DLC episodes, and more. The three episodes are called A New God, Myths of the Eastern Realm, and The Lost Gods. Myths of the Eastern Realm will take Fenyx into the realms of Chinese mythology with a focus on martial arts. Immortals Fenyx Rising is releasing for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, Switch, PC, Amazon Luna, and Stadia on December 3rd.

The first episode of Immortals Fenyx Rising’s Season Pass, A New God, takes Fenyx through the Trial of the Olympians, a series of challenges hosted by gods which include new puzzle types “against the stunning backdrop of the home of the Greek Gods, Olympos.” Myths of the Eastern Realm brings Chinese mythology to Immortals Fenyx Rising, a game primarily driven by its Greek mythological roots. The second episode follows a new hero known as Ku as it follows events that transpired before the events of Immortals Fenyx Rising.

“When a brutal war breaks out between Heaven and Earth,” said a post from Ubisoft about Immortals Fenyx Rising’s upcoming DLC. “Humanity is turned back into the clay that the Goddess Nuwa formed them from. But Ku escapes the curse of the broken heavens and emerges into the fallen world.” Ku will apparently use a unique fighting style compared to Fenyx which will be based on Chinese martial arts.

The final episode of Immortals Fenyx Rising’s Season Pass, The Lost Gods, brings another new playable hero to the game known as Ash. Renegade deities have sundered the world in The Lost Gods and the episode changes up the fighting style yet again, with a customizable upgrade system, and a new top-down isometric perspective.
