Latest PlayStation 5 Ad Released Goes To The Edge
It looks like Sony is preparing to officially announce the launch date and price of their upcoming PlayStation 5 consoles and the advertisements have already started rolling. Now that the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles have had their secrets revealed last week; it only took an online leak for that information to come out, all eyes immediately turned to Sony and gamers have been waiting with bated breath on when they will be able to get their hands on the consoles and how much it will cost them.
The PlayStation 5 tagline is “Play Has No Limits” and their latest ad demonstrates exactly that – and it’s spectacular! In the ad, which has a runtime of 60 seconds, a lone fisherman comes across a strange spectral formation on the horizon and charts a course towards it; as one typically does when strange spectral formations appear. He emerges on the other side of it and is joined by fleets of Viking Ships, Ice Breakers, Man-of-War, Zeppelins, Military Transport Helicopters and hosts of other vessels. The excitement is building and everyone is ready to see what is on the other side of the mysterious portal that stands in their way. With one final rallying call, they race towards and pass through the portal – into outer space. The tagline Play Has No Limits really works, and all of this is happening to an arrangement of “Baba O’Riley” by The Who, adding even more excitement to the overall presentation.
The PlayStation 5 Showcase is scheduled for Wednesday, September 16th, 2020 at 4PM EST and will run for approximately 40 minutes. It will be streaming on both YouTube and Twitch and will give gamers a final look at some of the titles that will be available at launch and in the coming months ahead.
