Bungie Making Destiny 2 Sleeper Node Grind Easier

Bad Luck Protection Coming to Destiny 2 Sleeper Nodes

According to developers at Bungie, they are bringing bad luck protection to the Sleeper node grind in Destiny 2’s endgame. The tweak is being made for the acquisition of Sleeper nodes on Mars for gamers to complete a lot of Destiny 2 content before it disappears with the Beyond Light expansion. One of the main rewards Sleeper node grinders are looking to attain before Mars is locked in the content vault is the Warminded emblem earned by unlocking all 40 of the Martian Sleeper Nodes. Destiny 2 is available right now for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Google Stadia, with the Beyond Light expansion releasing on November 10th.

Destiny 2 Gambit

Some of the biggest locations leaving Destiny 2 with the upcoming Beyond Light expansion include Titan, Io, Mercury, and Mars, making the Sleeper node grind even more important to Destiny 2 veterans before it’s no longer possible while it’s locked away in the Bungie vault. Every Sleeper node has a corresponding Override Frequency, but Bungie has officially fixed odds for gamers, making it easier for gamers grinding this content out to finish their treasure hunt.

Bungie has confirmed that it is highly rare to get an Override Frequency for a node in the player’s current area. Apparently the best way to unlock a specific node is to leave the area of that node before crafting the Override Frequency. On September 8th, Bungie is making it easier for Destiny 2 gamers to track Sleeper nodes more easily, but they are encouraged to return to nodes they’ve already opened one more time. It will be less likely for Destiny 2 gamers to benefit from duplicates after these changes, but bad luck protection will help others achieve the Warminded emblem.
