Untitled Goose Game is a phenomenon, much like Goat Simulator before it. It is a game where you play as an animal where you wreak havoc in a human’s world. But soon, you will be able to hold Untitled Goose Game in your very hands, you know without getting bit. There will be a standard edition, but also an Untitled Goose Game Lovely Edition from Iam8bit, which is more of a collector’s edition that comes with a few lovely items. The physical editions will be available at the end of September.
The Lovely Edition comes with a “No Goose” sticker, a Spring/Summer catalog of items found in the game in a mail-order style magazine, and a hand drawn map of the town. One of the nicest things about this edition, is that it is 100% recyclable, with the exception of the disc and Nintendo Switch cartridge and case. The packaging for the PS4 version is made up of “Innovative Eco-Friendly Packaging – 100% Post-Consumer Material + 100% Recyclable + Non-Toxic Inks + Biolefin Shrink-Wrap“. The map of the town is also printed on recycled paper. This means that if any naughty goose tries to steal it, the package won’t be thrown around and left to destroy the environment that the goose is actively trying to disrupt.
Unfortunately, these physical copies are only available to Nintendo Switch and PS4 owners; PC and Xbox One players will be left with a goose egg. Untitled Goose Game is available now for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The standard and Lovely Edition will be available for PS4 and Nintendo Switch on September 29th, but is available for pre-order now.
