LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May Release in 2021

LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga May Have Been Delayed

According to known leaker Wario64, a recent post on the official LEGO website suggests a 2021 release for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The post was swiftly taken down, but it appeared to be an add for a release of the full saga coming next year. Wario64 was able to grab a screencap of the post from LEGO before it was removed, but Star Wars fans have been expecting LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga by the end of this year. LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga is available through Xbox One backwards compatibility.

“LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga coming 2021 according to LEGO Store,” said known leaker Wario64 alongside the screencap of the original LEGO post. Since developers at Travellers’ Tales have kept pretty hush regarding their upcoming LEGO title, it’s likely that the title has been delayed from the initially intended release. While fans were never given an official release date for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, many gamers were expecting a fall release, but they may have to wait until next year if the post from LEGO is to be believed.

Earlier this year, the official Star Wars YouTube channel claimed that the nine-story Skywalker Saga, which covers the mainline Star Wars films, would be coming out this October. It seems like the Star Wars YouTube channel was a bit premature in their announcement considering this recent LEGO post that was removed a bit too late. The screenshot captured by Wario64 clearly says that LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga will be releasing in 2021, but until we get official confirmation, this should be taken with a grain of salt.
