Had Cyberpunk 2077 released when it was initially intended to, Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team would have perfectly accompanied the game with a comic book series releasing around the same time. As it stands right now, it looks like the first few issues of Trauma Team will release ahead of the release of the game after it was recently delayed. Trauma Team International is a faction of of paramedics and PMCs so the comic series will likely focus on life savers in the Night City.

“Nadia, an assistant EMT for a privately-owned business known as Trauma Team International, is the sole survivor of a failed rescue mission turned shootout,” said Dark Horse comics. “After she agrees to continue work for an upcoming extraction mission, Nadia and her new team find themselves in an even more dangerous and life-threatening situation.” The writer, Cullen Bunn, was also the mind behind Harrow County and Uncanny X-Men, while Miguel Valderrama worked on Giants.

“Together with Dark Horse Comics, we’re proud to announce Cyberpunk 2077: Trauma Team, new comic series!” said CD Projekt Red recently on the official Cyberpunk 2077 Twitter account.
