Farming sim fans rejoice! Again! You may have your hands full and your attention fixed on Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and no one would blame you, but the remake of Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town is coming. Originally, released on the GameBoy Advance and under the Harvest Moon name, Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will be coming to the Nintendo Switch. The series is called Story of Seasons in Japan and will come to the West with the same name in July.
Harvest Moon is considered the godfather of farming sims. If there is anything to rival Animal Crossing: New Horizons right now, this would be it. If your first farming sim was Stardew Valley, you can see what inspired it just by looking at the trailer for Friends of Mineral Town. The classic features will be present, as well as some new ones that are sure to make your farming experience one of the best you could ask for. There are a couple of different cute pre-order bonuses for fans to enjoy as well, though they appear to be mutually exclusive to the digital and physical editions.

Pre-ordering the physical edition will get you a physical Strawberry Cow Pocket Plush. The digital version gives you an in-game cow outfit, a cowtfit if you will. It even has a cute, yellow bandanna. Fortunately, the cowtfit is not exclusive, so if you pre-order the physical edition and get the plush, you can buy the outfit as DLC for $1.99 if you really want it. Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town will be available on July 14th exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
