Avoid the Howl
A horrifying plague is on the horizon, console players. Of course, if you are brave enough, you can begin to save the day by getting your hands on it. Do you hear the howling? Astragon Entertainment and Mi’pu’mi Games have announced that pre-orders are now available for their  turn-based adventure, Howl, for the Epic Games Store and Consoles. Inviting players to a world of living ink, the game places players in an ever-expanding parchment world full of various levels that must be tactically outwitted. Importantly, a recent trailer provides players with a look at the game. Additionally, a press release gives some more details about the pre-orders for the game.Â
Howl places players to a medieval folktale set in a parchment world. A howling plague has turned many of the folk in the kingdom into terrifying beasts. However, not all hope is lost. The protagonist of this tale is a deaf heroine who is completely immune to the noise-based plague. Yet, that is far form her only trick. As this heroine players will be able to plan out her movements six turns in advance. Of course, this allows her to get the drop on these beasts as she dispatches them or outmaneuvers them. But be warned, she may be immune to the plague but not to claws and teeth.Â

Pre-orders for Howl are currently available for the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game will release on these platforms on January 23, 2024.Â
