Chico and the Magic Orchards Is Coming to Switch in December

Chico Is Ready for Some Adventures

We have exciting news for all the puzzle game lovers. The indie game studio Daikon Games has announced that their debut title Chico and the Magic Orchards DX is coming to Nintendo Switch. The game will be available on the Nintendo eShop on 29 December for a price of $4.99 USD.

Chico and the Magic Orchards is a puzzle platformer adventure game inspired by the classic 8-bit era. It originally came out on PC on 8 August 2022. The game tells the story of Chico, a chipmunk who falls through a portal into a magical world full of giant walnuts.

Players must control Chico to solve puzzles and challenges across a variety of unique levels. His goal is to gather walnuts and get back to his forest. He can jump, push blocks, and use the walnuts to solve puzzles and defeat enemies.

The unique thing about Chico’s adventure is that it goes on even after the credits roll. Players can still continue in the new post-game campaign called A Hive Divided. Here. they will rescue bees trapped across two giant levels and defeat the Queen Pee. Use fire, water, and honey to power up the walnuts to use them for all sorts of purposes.

The game features a 4-color mode, an automatic palette mode with a special 4-color palette for each area, and a new Full Color mode. It also has catchy chiptune music and pixel-grid filters, giving it the look and feel of a classic 8-bit game.
