So, You Want to Hear Another Story, Eh?
Back in 2019, one of Fortnite’s crossover events saw the addition of Borderlands-themed content. Fortnite X Mayhem was timed to coincide with the release hype of Borderlands 3, but now the return of this content is also overlapping with other special releases of the series. The Borderlands Legendary Collection has recently debuted on the Nintendo Switch and at the same time, Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is also available on the Epic Games Store for free for a limited time. The return probably has more to do with the Epic Games Store deal than the Switch port though.
If you already have the Borderlands content, nothing new is being added, but if you missed it the first time around, now’s your chance. For 2000 V-Bucks or $19.99, players can get the Psycho skin, Buzz Axe, and Claptrap Pet that doesn’t shut up. However, with the purchase of Borderlands 3 on the Epic Games Store, you can get this pack for free. If you already have Borderlands 3 on the Store, you can still redeem the Borderlands content for free.

Just a reminder, if you are a big Borderlands fan, but not much of a Fortnite fan, you can get Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on the Epic Games Store for free until June 4th. This comes with Borderlands 2 and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and nearly all of their DLC. Fortnite is available for PC, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Mobile.
