Xbox Game Studios Showing Next-Gen Titles off in July

With a new Inside Xbox coming on May 7th, Xbox Game Studios have confirmed big first-party announcements for the Xbox Series X coming in July. Starting with their May show, Microsoft will be showing off more Xbox content every month, from Xbox One and Game Pass news to Xbox Series X news. July’s showcases will center on multiple first-party games that will end up on the Xbox Series X, with Halo Infinite likely making an appearance. The extensive Game Pass library is available on PC and Xbox One with Xbox Live through Game Pass Ultimate at the cost of $10 per month.

“In July, we will dedicate time to focus on the incredible games coming from Xbox Game Studios. A number of our studio teams are looking forward to sharing first looks at new gameplay, insights from development teams being optimized for Xbox Series X, and brand-new game announcements. We cannot wait to share this initial look at what some of those teams are working on,” said the Xbox team. While we aren’t sure what to expect beyond Halo Infinite and Hellblade II: Senua’s Saga but we’re looking forward to new first-party announcements for next-gen.

The May 7th Inside Xbox event will focus on third-party titles coming to the Xbox Series X but the July showcase will focus on Xbox Game Studios titles. Beyond what we know of, we hope to see a Fable sequel, Gears 6 or the next Forza Horizon title. Project xCloud will be part of Xbox Game Pass later this year according to the Xbox team, giving fans of the subscription service more places to experience their favorite titles.
