The Next Inside Xbox Shows of Xbox Series X Games
With the next generation of consoles coming later this year, Microsoft will be showing off several games coming to the Xbox Series X with their next Inside Xbox showcase. The Xbox Series X games showcase will take place on the morning of May 7th at 8 AM PST. Developers from around the world will be showcasing their next-gen experiences during this Inside Xbox event, with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla already expected to make an appearance. Xbox Game Pass will be available for the Xbox Series X when the next-gen console arrives and is already on the Xbox One and PC.
“You want to see games for the Xbox Series X? We want to show you games for the Xbox Series X,” proclaimed the Xbox Twitter page. “Check out First Look next-gen gameplay from our global developers partners within #InsideXbox on Thursday, May 7 at 8am PT.” With Halo Infinite and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla already expected to be showed off during the upcoming Inside Xbox, we’re looking forward to seeing what the Xbox Series X has to offer as part of its game library. We hope to hear more of what next-gen Game Pass looks like as well and it’s likely that a significant portion of current-gen games will be backwards compatible on the platform.
The last Inside Xbox featured Rare’s Sea of Thieves and Obsidian Entertainments’ Grounded, as well as what Game Pass subscribers can expect to cap off this generation of Xbox. With events such as SDCC and E3 being cancelled this year, we hope to see more digital showcases such as this and anticipated PlayStation’s big announcements whenever they arrive. The Xbox One was released with a focus on entertainment but the Xbox Series X clearly emphasizes games more out the gate.
