The Old Ways Focuses on Bloodhound in Apex Legends
Respawn Entertainment has officially announced an upcoming event known as The Old Ways which joins Apex Legends from April 7th until the 21st. There’s a new point of interest called Bloodhound’s Trials which apparently has many prowlers patrolling the area. Gamers will have to take on the prowlers for loot while continuing to battle other players amid the chaos. Duos will be added to the game permanently alongside a map rotation that allows gamers to play either King’s Canyon or World’s Edge. Apex Legends is available for Xbox One, PS4 and PC now.
While The Old Ways event focuses on Bloodhound, several characters will be receiving cosmetics to unlock. Eight new legendary skins will be added to the game and they cosmetics overall are inspired by The Old Ways animated short which was recently released by Respawn Entertainment. Gamers will be able to directly purchase cosmetics from the shop during this event, similar to the more recent Apex Legends events. There will also be a new event prize track which allows gamers to complete challenges to earn up to 1000 points per challenge set and acquire different cosmetics through playing the game.
The Prowlers in Bloodhound’s Trials will add to the meta of Apex Legends, continuing to make the game more interesting as it evolves. New points of interest are always popular the week they release and with Bloodhound’s Trials being brought to the game for April, it’ll likely be a hot drop until the event ends. While there are new legendary skins being added to Apex Legends with The Old Ways event, battle pass owners will receive recolours of the Wraith skin and the R-301.
