Animal Crossing New Horizons Releases Tomorrow… With an Update
With Animal Crossing: New Horizons releasing tomorrow, the game will be accompanied by a day one update. The update technically released yesterday to make the launch of the latest Animal Crossing title a little smoother for fans. Among some fixes, the patch includes an in-game Nintendo Switch which is a piece of furniture you can place somewhere in your home. Gamers can receive the free Nintendo Switch item by checking their mailbox if they purchased the day one version of the game. Animal Crossing: New Horizons releases exclusively for the Nintendo Switch tomorrow.
Once gamers update Animal Crossing: New Horizons to version 1.1, they will receive the in-game Nintendo Switch console as a piece of furniture, courtesy of Nintendo. Gamers who purchased the special Animal Crossing edition of Nintendo Switch console will get a special treat, as the in-game model for the Switch will mimic their special edition console. Other gamers will receive the standard blue and red JoyCon unit so this is another thing for people with the special edition console to enjoy it.
The official Animal Crossing Twitter account shared information on version 1.1. saying “the Ver 1.1.0 update for #AnimalCrossing: New Horizons will be available ahead of launch, starting at 6pm PT, 3/18. Customers who have preloaded the game after purchasing from Nintendo eShop will be able to download the update data at this time. #ACNH.” Digital buyers won’t have to wait to play their game if they already have it installed on their consoles but people who buy the physical edition will have to wait to install version 1.1.
