So… You Want to Cross Animals
The Animal Crossing series is known for its laid back, open-ended, and relaxing gameplay. There is not really any huge, definitive goals to it. All you really have to do is make your home, pay Tom Nook, befriend villager, pay Tom Nook, go fishing, pay Tom Nook, and pay Tom Nook. The world is your Tom Nook-leased oyster. The new Animal Crossing game will be out in a month, and there is lots to do and many friends to be made. Those looking to get the most out of the game might want to consider getting the Animal Crossing: New Horizons official guide, which is on sale right now!
The Official Companion Guide is made by Future Press. You can get it on Amazon for 40% off, if you act fast. It is like most strategy guides; offering tips and tricks for making money, insider information on crafting, and what gets sold where. Some things that have not been revealed by any trailers or press releases have been confirmed by this guide. The museum that was present in past Animal Crossing games will be returning. The museum, like in previous games in the series or like in Stardew Valley, is a place for curating rare items like fossils.
Future Press is offering this guide in paperback, with no mention for a hardcover copy or eBook. The normal price is $29.99 USD, but is discounted for $17.99 USD. The guide also releases on April 9th, which is a month after the game releases. Are you willing to start your game without it? Right now, it is discounted on Amazon.com. It does not appear to currently be available on Amazon.ca. Animal Crossing: New Horizons comes out exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 20th.
