Baldur’s Gate III Gameplay Will Be Shown off at PAX East
According to the developers behind Baldur’s Gate III, Larian Studios, the gameplay for their upcoming epic RPG will be shown off at PAX East this week. As part of their teaser for PAX East, the developer shared a behind-the-scenes video which gave gamers an idea of how development is going on the title. The gameplay reveal will happen at PAX East on February 27th and gamers can expect to get their hands on the upcoming RPG on PC and Google Stadia.
While Google recently mentioned that Baldur’s Gate III will be releasing this year, Larian Studios hasn’t confirmed a release date as of now. The RPG is being developed in close collaboration with the Dungeons & Dragons team at Wizards of the Coast and it’s based on the current version of the classic tabletop RPG. Gamers can expect to see similar spells and mechanics to the current D&D books. The new Baldur’s Gate is expected to be more open than any of the previous titles with memorable combat, environments, enemies and companion characters.
The PAX East Baldur’s Gate III stage show will include a Q&A according to Larian Studios, “Larian Creative Director Swen Vincke will be live on stage with a very special guest to reveal more about the game’s story and mechanics. The show will offer seating for 1,000 people, and those in attendance can take part in a live Q&A with the developers, but don’t worry if you can’t make it in person, the action will also be streamed on YouTube.” Gamers can expect to hear loads about the upcoming Larian Studios RPG at this PAX East stage show later this week.
