Seasons greetings from all the Realms. This weekend will see the beginning of the Mortal Kombat 11 Holiday Event that will run into the first week of January. There will be two parts to this event; the Winter Wonderland and Ring in the New Year. Both see special themed modifiers in the Towers. The Winter Wonderland Tower will run from December 22nd to December 27th. The modifiers are called Killer Kanes, Sledding Tarkatans, Parachuting Ginger Deadmen, Exploding Snowmen, Christmas Trees, Menorahs, Dreidels, and Shooting Stars.
As soon as the Winder Wonderland Tower ends, the Ring in the New Year Tower begins and runs from December 28th to January 2nd. The modifiers for this tower include celebratory decorations like a disco ball, champagne bottles, party poppers, fireworks, and a countdown. The Towers of Time award things like profile experience, Konsumables, gear, and currency. That being said, you may want to stock up on Koins and Time Krystals. The Klassic Female Ninja Skins have become available in the Time Krystal Store. These skins for Jade, Kitana, and Skarlet are costumes in the style of their outfits from Mortal Kombat 2. They are only available until the end of this holiday event.

Just like Halloween, the Winter holidays are perfect for seasonal event in a ton of different games. You may be swamped by them all, and the Mortal Kombat 11 holiday event has a relatively small window of time to participate, so prioritize. Mortal Kombat 11 is out now on PC, PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and Nintendo Switch.
